About Emily

I am a wedding photographer based right outside of Boston. While I hold the title of wedding photographer dearly, I also consider myself a friend, ear-to-listen, and hype-person when needed for my couples.

A lot of my inspiration comes from old photography books, movies, people watching, traveling, and my own relationships. Meeting new people is one of my favorite things, I believe you can learn a lot by just listening to the stories folks are willing to tell. I feel that I am constantly learning and growing from each person I meet.

I'm a big fan of live music, a good veggie sandwich, and rewatching Gilmore Girls. In my free time, you can usually find me walking my dog Indy, planning a new adventure with my husband Brandon, or cooking a new vegetarian recipe in the kitchen.

In fall of 2023, I got married on the rainiest October day to the love of my life. I've always drawn a lot of inspiration for my work from my own relationship and I feel that has only deepened after celebrating our own wedding day. Our wedding day truly felt like "us" and has only grown my passion for helping other couples to experience that.

I believe in authenticity - documenting the messy & organic moments that come along with life. The in-between moments that may seem small at the time but mean everything looking back. Photography means so much more to me than just documenting on single day in your lives. I want you to look back at your photos and immediately feel those emotions all over again - the imperfect, tender, blurry, and candid moments that created your day.

Our relationship means a lot to me. That you trust me to be creative on your day while documenting every special moment for you to look back on. I feel incredibly lucky to work with open-minded, down-to-earth, and overall extraordinary people, couples, and families. No matter what your celebration looks like, you’re ready to be present on your day, laugh, collaborate, and overall trust the process. I go into each wedding day with an open mind and ready to document whatever comes my way. I always aim to create a comforting environment where you can feel free to be your authentic self. I create my best work from you genuinely enjoying your day and not worrying about the camera.

Choosing to work with me tends to feel very collaborative and overall natural. I want you to fully embrace your day and know that I'll be there documenting how it all felt.
